High School - Mental Wellness
According to the World Health Organization, mental wellness is defined as “a state of well-being in which the individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community”.
How can a teen improve their mental wellness? There are many ways to improve or maintain good emotional health: Be aware of emotions and reactions, control anger, create a positive life outlook, think before you act, manage stress, and connect with others.
To help the teens you work with improve their mental well-being, use the ARISE Life Skills curricula below.
