High School - Anger Management
Anger Management for High School Students and Young Adults
Teens experience anger. It can be a symptom of a mental health issue, traumatizing life experience, or just from stress and pressures of the teen years. Anger also can be triggered by low self-esteem, persistent peer pressure, bullying, poor communication skills, and conflict in one’s life.
Anger is something teens and young adults can learn to control. While they can’t always control the situation they’re in or how it makes them feel, they can learn to control how they express anger. Anger management training teaches teens and young adults how to communicate feelings without being verbally or physically abusive. The ARISE life skills curriculum below provides anger management lesson plans to help teens understand their anger and manage it appropriately.
