After creating more than 100 books on the Life-Skills youth need to become productive members of society, the ARISE Foundation has developed a unique training experience especially for parents and families. ARISE Family Tools is a 12-session jump start to a healthier, happier family. Each 90-minute lesson is interactive: there are no lectures in ARISE Family Tools. Instead, video clips, stories and other activities keep it real. These simple, proven tools help participants use their own experiences to talk about, role-play and practice techniques for creating a calmer, less stressful family life. Each week, ARISE Family Tools offers guided activities with worksheets and handouts for the family to complete at home as well as opportunities to socialize with other families on the road to success.
In addition to engaging lessons, the ARISE Family Tools positivity cards help parents reinforce what they’ve learned, encourage their children, and share their positive experiences with others.
The interactive ARISE Life Skills Lessons have been taught to at-risk youth and teens across the United States and beyond. The ARISE program is in use in Canada, Jamaica, England, Australia, Bahamas, Bermuda, New Zealand, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Bosnia, Kazakhstan, The Kingdom of Bahrain, South Africa, China, Vietnam, Uganda, Barbados, Nigeria, India, Pakistan, Kenya and Haiti.
With evidence-based results of real success, the ARISE Foundation curricula is the trusted gold standard in life skills lessons and staff training. The ARISE Family Tools program continues that standard of excellence and is perfect for community centers, parenting workshops, daycares, churches and other youth organizations, interested in helping local parents reach their full potential.
