Directions For Using Your Worry, Anger and Stress Stones

Choose a stone and hold it in each hand for a moment to determine which hand is best. Sometimes one hand will resonate more than the other. While holding the stone, focus on worries that are particularly bothersome to you. Picture yourself transferring the worries directly into the stone, removing them entirely from your mind. Now that your worries have been securely placed in the stone and you are satisfied they have been drained from your mind, walk to a sink and, with the water running, wash your worry stone with soap and see your worries being flushed down the drain, This exercise is particularly effective when you are unable to sleep. Follow the same directions for ridding yourself of the anger and stress in your life.

When it isn’t convenient to wash your stones, empty your body of worry, stress and anger by collecting stressors in the chosen stone as they come up. Channel your worries, stress or rage directly into the specific stone and preform the washing functions when it’s convenient. This way the irritant is our of your mind and life can go on comfortably, without confrontations, explosions, guilt and apologies.

Instead of focusing on what is missing, how life has cheated you, or what others have that would make you happy, concentrate on and picture in your mind what you do have. Worries getting you down? SMILE. Someone cut you off in traffic? SMILE. Scientifically speaking, the mind can handle only ONE thought at a time, so it’s easy to drive out negativity with a big smile.

Use your smile stone as a reminder that you need to smile more. Try walking into a room with a big smile on your face and watch the smiling reception you get. How come?
