Message from Bermuda

Lucinda Worrell was instrumental in bringing the ARISE program to Bermuda in 2007. An ARISE Master Trainer trained 18 public school teachers as ARISE Group Facilitators. The email printed below (with permission from Ms. Worrell) is from one of the most genuine and dedicated individuals we have ever met.

Here is what she had to say about the ARISE program:

I LOVE ARISE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS FOR CREATING THIS PROGRAM. I AM HAPPY IN ARISE.YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW ARISE IS SO MUCH A PART OF MY LIFE.

I AM ALSO A GREAT INSTRUCTOR. I DON’T NEED ANYONE TO TELL ME. THE CHILDREN SHOW ME AND THAT’S WORTH MORE THAN MONEY. DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH?? HA

I was in the hospital again. SO what new. This is a habit now. Had an operation on my stomach. Came out Yesterday. I am alive and thankful. Some people don’t have the luck I have with this disease. God doesn’t want me yet and hell is afraid of me. I am wonderful. I am truly blessed.

I never shared this with you. For over a year now I start and end every ARISE lesson with the following Poem. All the children must open and close our ARISE Lesson with this. IT goes like this.

Here I am
Look at me
I hope you like
The person you see
Well are all the same but different too
Learn from me and I will Learn from you

I am just so happy today and I want the world to know. Can’t work for the next 3 weeks. Seriously speaking. I am not too sick to teach an ARISE Lesson if they bring the kids to my house. ARISE gives me Life.
